Phill Glenn
Phillip Glenn is Professor of Organizational and Political Communication at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is author of Laughter in Interaction (Cambridge University Press, 2003) plus a number of articles and book chapters. He is co-editor of Studies in Language and Social Interaction (Erlbaum, 2003) and Media '95 (Karolinum). Besides ROLSI he serves on the editorial board of Communication Yearbook. His teaching interests include negotiation, conflict management, organizational communication, laughter and humor, and research methods. He has been a Fulbright scholar in Moldova (2005) and the Czech Republic (1995. He received his Ph. D. from the University of Texas in 1987.
